K-DELIS Reliability Engineering (or simply K-DELIS) is a young consulting company that has been founded in January 2026.

The starting point of this business creation project was the following core belief:

“We strongly think that there is far more value to unlock from RAMS models and Reliability data than what the market currently offers.”

This guiding principle is rooted in more than 20 years of experience in dependability modeling, analysis, and calculations, as well as in reliability data management, structuring and analysis. It is reinforced by over a hundred RAMS studies conducted or led across both industrial and R&D projects.

Missions

At K-DELIS Reliability Engineering, we empower operational projects and assets with strategic insights to refine design and operating philosophies, unlocking performance gains while reducing costs and environmental impact.

When Reliability/Availability/Production Availability models are powered by:

  • High-quality reliability databases (statistics on equipment failures),
  • Advanced modeling tools (fault trees, Petri nets, Monte-Carlo simulation…),
  • Detailed analyses of system failures convering not only major equipment (rotating machinery, vessels…) but also valves and sensors,
  • Complex and exhausitve overview of operational constraints like logistic delays, restart durations, dependencies between systems/units/items, spare part management…,
  • More than 20 years of experience in System Dependability,

it is possible to provide project teams, Maintenance teams, Operations teams, HSE teams, etc. with detailed and meaningful results and relevant insights to optimize at the best the balance between performances, costs and emissions.

OUR FINAL OBJECTIVES:

  • Symplify the design of the facilities under study while meeting reliability/availability targets
  • Optimize costs (CAPEX = CAPital EXpenditure & OPEX = OPerational EXpenditures)
  • Limit/reduce CO2 emissions
  • Adjust the operating philosophy (reconfiguration scenarios, restart procedures…)
  • Optimize the spare part management (number of spare parts, procurement times, refurbishment times…)
  • Define the maintenance philosophy (preventive maintenance program, safety tests, inspection…) and its impact on performances
